A global healthcare executive bridging innovation, evidence, policy, and implementation.
Hartmut Drommershausen brings more than two decades of international leadership experience across medical technology, pharmaceuticals, payer organizations, healthcare delivery, and public health.
His career includes leadership roles at Alcon, Théa, Glaukos, Medtronic, Smith+Nephew, Cigna, Wexford Health Sources, and the National Commission on Correctional Health Care.
He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Health in Executive Leadership at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Why clinically promising technologies fail to reach their full potential
Clinical performance is only one part of successful adoption. Technologies can struggle when reimbursement, provider incentives, workflow, infrastructure, and evidence expectations are considered too late. A strong commercialization strategy aligns these elements early and translates scientific promise into a credible pathway toward routine care.
